The Trinidad Trading Company opened its door in June of 1991

Our store front is located at 460 Main St in Trinidad in a building from the late 1800’s.
My grandparents lived here in the late 1900’s.Today we usher in a new era of the Trinidad Trading Company with the opening of our doors to cyberspace.
The concept of the Trinidad Trading Company evolved from the old world trade routes where cultures and traditions first began to blend. Today the world is accessible in an instant and reaching the four corners is as close as our fingertips. Through cyberspace we can exchange both goods and ideas from one another.

The Trinidad Trading Company seeks to be a gathering place where both old and contemporary traditions meld and meet. Our goal is to provide you our valued customer with avenues to bring beauty, peace and harmony into your life. We offer craft shells for creating regalia and original personal adornment. Our book and music selections offer relaxation and information.

From the four directions of the earth we have selected items which will enrich your being. Our high karat gold collection from the east is rich and created by traditional artisans with attention to detail. The oceans of the world bring us abalone shell, dentalium and pearls which offer an opportunity to create heirlooms of great beauty to be worn now and shared in generations to come.
We're located along the coast in Northern California in the city of Trindad.
